Update

22 weeks

I hate posting pics of my growing stomach so here is the first one and maybe the last! We did find out however that we will be blessed with a boy! We are very excited and Travis is extremely excited. I'm feeling great and have been blessed with not being sick at all. Kaitlyn is pretty cute about the baby in mom's tummy, she loves to sing songs to the baby and likes to feel him move. Sometimes she will lay her head on my tummy and say to the baby "move baby move, it's Kaitlyn" it's the sweetest thing ever.

Christmas Day!

We spent Christmas in California with my family. It was fun to see how excited Kaitlyn was about every little thing this year. She understood so much more and was so anxious for Santa to come.

Kaitlyn helped me make sugar cookies. It was pretty cute cause she had to have everything I had down to a miniature roller. (which for some odd reason my mom had)

Making Gingerbread houses with dad cause he knows more about constructing things. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas Dress

Every year growing up, my Mom would buy us girls a Christmas dress to wear for church on Christmas Sunday. I always loved getting a new dress! So I have started this same tradition with Kaitlyn.

Christmas Tree

Kaitlyn had a great time decorating the Christmas tree, she put all the ornaments in a close cluster. It was and still is hard for me not to move them all over the tree. But she is so proud of her tree!

Colorado Trip

We just got back from Colorado visiting Travis's family. Here are a few pics from our trip. We had a great time and we even got to experience some snow!

Kaitlyn got to hold her cousin Jason for the first time and he is 6 months old. That's how long it's been since we have been to Colorado!

Kaitlyn got to ride with daddy on his motorcycle. Travis's motorcycle is in Colorado at his parents house so maybe one of these days we can take it back with us. He sure enjoyed riding his bike again! We had so much fun and enjoyed seeing his family.

Kaitlyn's Going To Be A........

Big Sister!!!!

We are expecting a new addition to our family in May. Although Kaitlyn doesn't know what this shirt says, she greatly appreciated the hugs she got when she wore it!!! We are very excited and are hoping Kaitlyn will adjust to the new little baby!

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn!

We official have a two year old, weird huh! We had a birthday party for Kaitlyn and my Dad on Sunday.

She loves the movie Tarzan, so we had a monkey cake. I'm sad to say that I did not make the cake, maybe next year!
She loved her cake so much that she took a big bite out of it!

I made Kaitlyn a dress up box, it was filled with necklaces, clothes and shoes.

This is how Travis found her 5 minutes after I laid her down. Kaitlyn's bed is near the window and somehow she climbed out of her bed and into the window. We later asked her how she got up there and she happily showed us some of her monkey skills. It was pretty impressive. Travis was one proud dad! We have since moved her bed!

Steve and Maria

These past two weeks, my brother Steve and his wife Maria were visiting. We had so much fun having them here and we can't wait to see them in a couple months!!

Kaitlyn Swimming

Busy Month!!!

We have been busy this month, getting rid of the pacifier (which by the way was two nights of no sleep for us) and potty training. I have been a little preoccupied following Kaitlyn around asking if she has to go to the bathroom all day long! I didn't want to start potty training but I couldn't keep her diaper on even duct tape didn't work! So we'll see how it goes this week!Kaitlyn had so much fun flying a kite at the beach, she didn't want any help from us.
She loves going to the beach cause she gets to eat licorice.
Lots and lots of swimming, we pretty much swim everyday.

Family Reunion

Travis and I were going on a romantic canoe ride. When he decided it would be funny if he tipped the canoe. My brother Steve and his wife Maria tried to help us but we "accidentally" tipped them over as well.

Kaitlyn going for a swim in the lake, she had so much fun digging holes and running in and out of the water.

The 4th of July Kaitlyn enjoyed the sparklers, she kept on saying "more please, more please." Thank you to my uncles and aunts for making the reunion so memorable.

Brotherly Love

Travis's brothers came to visit us from Colorado. This is their first time in the ocean, pretty crazy since I grew up near the ocean. But when I first met Travis he had never been to the ocean either!!Kaitlyn was the ball girl!!

Kaitlyn had a lot of fun with her Uncle Brian. Kevin and Steven also came but they had volleyball tournaments the whole weekend. We enjoyed having them here.
