Broken Foot

Moral of the story is that boys are super busy, love to climb on everything and never sit still. Brayden climbed on our coffee table, jumped off and landed on his foot wrong. He limped around for 4 days and didn't complain at all. I thought he had sprained it, but I'm not a doctor. ha Finally took him in and had x-rays, it was broken. Worst mom ever, that's definitely what I was feeling. Later that night I took away the coffee table so he wouldn't jump off again but then I found him jumping off the couch! Stay tuned, the next post might be two broken feet!

Kaitlyn turns 4!

Can't believe she is 4! She loves her new preschool and is enjoying meeting new friends. We love our new place and love the area. We are surrounded by parks and go almost everyday. Kaitlyn just learned how to swing by herself which is really nice because it was hard to push her and keep a eye on crazy Brayden running around.

1st dance recital

Kaitlyn and her best friend B after their very 1st dance recital!

Kaitlyn had her first dance recital and she absolutely loved it. Travis says it's time to try soccer cause getting ready for the dance recital was too stressful and I think I might agree on this one. Trying to put make-up on a three year old was so awful. There was alot of screaming by her which then lead to her crying. After her emotional breakdown, her make up was all over her face. Once she got on the stage I knew that it was all worth it. She danced so great and seemed to enjoy being on the big stage.

Catch up

It's been a little crazy lately with moving and now unpacking things. But grandparents/family and friends have been nagging me to post. I have posted a few so scroll on down to see them. I will post a few more later then we should be up to date!

B.O.M

Kaitlyn is now in Primary and absolutely loves it. The theme for this year is "I know the Scriptures are true" and she wanted her own B.O.M. Later that day she had Brayden outside on the lawn "reading" it to him, pretty much she kept on saying "And it came to pass....." It was so amazing to see her love for the Book of Mormon at such a young age.

Brayden is 1

Brayden loves food, when I'm making dinner he stands at my legs and holds onto them, kindof like a dog waiting for a crumb to fall on the ground. He loves to eat! So for his bday I thought it was appropriate to make him hamburger/ french fry cake. It turned out pretty cute. He was such a riot to watch when we handed him the cake. I can't believe he is one!

Easter

Priceless! In their Easter outfits and loving it!

Travis Turns 28!!!!

Travis turns 28!!! Every year for his birthday he wants a plain cheesecake with strawberries on top but this year I wanted to be a little more creative and decided to make a turtle cheesecake. It was SO yummy, I don't think I can make a plain cheesecake again!( the silly hat Trav is wearing is a tradition at my parents house when its your bday ha)

Lazy or busy

Miss Kaitlyn is loving preschool and loves to have me work in her class because on that day she gets to do show and tell! She also is taking a tap/ballet class with her friend Brooklyn, it's so fun to watch them. They have a recital in June which should be pretty cute to watch.

Brayden is super busy (which I'm told all boys are) I can't keep him in one spot. He does always have a smile on his face, I love it! He is crawling all over and walking holding on to furniture but today he took two steps all by himself! Give him a week and he will be running probably trying to run away from his sister! Ha she does love him but loves to tease him more right now! Just a little update, I'm hoping I can be a little more on top it.
