Yesterday my mom and I made these mini caramel apples, which we saw in a Family Fun magazine.

Use a melon scooper

Put a stick into the bottom of the apple

We used the caramel wraps because we couldn't get the liquid caramel to stick to the apple. You just have to wrap the caramel around the apple then dip into chocolate. We rolled the apples in sprinkles, coconut and walnuts.

They looked so cute and they tasted good too!!!!

i think i'm going to try this some day.
Did you save one for me? They look really good. Your Mom is rubbing off on you. Very creative! Love, GS
Hey! I have made alot of the bows, but i looked on ebay for alot of them! She has so many, Lane thinks i am crazy! I wish we lived closer too, it would be fun to have a friend closer! How are you 3 doing? Kaitlyn is so cute! Your halloween costumes were so cute! I love the carmel apple idea too! Very creative:) Miss ya tell Trav i said Hi!
I love caramel apples! Those are perfect too because they are bite size. The only bad part about normal caramel apples is that I eat the outside (mostly the caramel and the top layer of the apple) and then the middle of the apple is left over with no more caramel on it. The mini apples will solve that problem! Thanks!
How cute!! and it makes it so much easier to eat. You can never really eat caramel apples and enjoy it without the caramel coming off with no apple and getting it all stuck in your teeth....so thanks now I know there is a way to enjoy caramel apples haha
Hey Liz! I'm so excited that I found your blog! Anyway, those apples look awesome. I hate eating caramel apples because I am not a fan of caramel and sticky-ness all over my face, but these I could eat all day long:)
Less apples, more Kaitlyn.
I loved those apples! I may need to make some, I thoroughly enjoyed them at FHE:) See you tomorrow...
Liz, You are so dang creative.. I am way impressed.. Too bad I wasn't there to try them. That means I will have to make them myself..
